Okay, so I was hung over yesterday.... very badly. So... i drunk toooo much rum the night before. I don't think that I'll be touching drink for a while. that's something that I have to stay away from for a while anyhow. I take too many meds to be drinking anyhow.

but ya know what? i really needed this. I needed to let go of my inhibitions and just be free just for a little while at least until the rum kicked in & and I started getting woozy and then the stomach kicked in. (OF which I was up most of the night w/)

That's what happens every time I drink rum.... and it was clear rum at that. go figure.

I'm just so darned stressed that I needed something to allow me to release my inner me and feel some freedom and sometimes drink is the only way to do it.

Alas, the hang over wasn't any fun. I slept most of the day due to the phenergan that I had to take for my tummy. LOL. But you'll never guess what happened, I got on etsy last night, promoted my shop and I got up this morning to a sale. Something good did happen out of yesterdays relaxation/hang over. I needed that extra sleep and I needed to just kick back. responsible Shannon had had enough of being her for a while.

But it's back to being me today. I've got a very long day at school with biology class and biology lab this afternoon, and spanish tutor and Supplimental instruction in biology (sort of like group study in bio).  I'm not too sure I like my spanish tutor... she's a bit abrasive. But  I suppose that I come off a bit abrasive at times too. But she didn't make a good first impression on me, I'll grant you that which was Friday. Nor has my bio tutor,... I've only been with her once in two weeks.... The rest of the time, she hasn't been here. don't know what's going on there, but I only have her twice a week... the least she could do is show up. Ya know?????

I don't know what we are going to do in bio lab today... it may be videos, slides, or back to the mink... Guess I'll find out. I'm flying with a wing and a prayer today, but happy as a lark. I made that sale.

I worked with the camera yesterday and had gotten my new photo tent yesterday as well. It was a total surprise to get it that fast!!! But it set me up to take shots and work with the camera. I took over 200 shots trying my best to get each piece shot twice ( and sometimes I was having to shoot a couple times for blurry pics). But I had to stop when the camera went down on battery. That was a complete bummer as I only had a couple pieces left. AALLLMOOOST had it too.

But I'll finish it up today, tell me what you think so far...

String and bead, bead and string... that's what I do. Other than taking care of photographs, I've been editing for the past 4 hours. Couldn't sleep, so I figured that I would edit and blog and post new jewelry onto my etsy. Hope everyone likes them. Here, I'll give you a taste.

yes, I finished painting, but now I have a new project... to construct a light box. Think that I'll use my usual birthday money to get the stuff I need to build it. I found the link through one of the groups that I belong to. It will be rather inexpensive and easy to construct. But my camera is trying to go on the fritz. Joy joy for me. My hubby has a camera thank goodness that I can use, I can only hope that it takes good pics. I haven't used it in a while.

I'm sending 50 of my business cards to a lady in Kansas to send out with her orders. I can only hope that this spreads the word of my shop. I've got some in my purse, I've got some ready and waiting, now all I have to do is talk to some places to be able to set them out.

I know that the local pharmacy wil let me set them out, and the place across the road from it too as I am friends of theirs. I'm also wanting to set some at the local beauty salon, I'll give them a call today. I need a trim anyhow.

Am I all over the field? yes... Y? because mother nature has come knocking at my door and I'm not a happy camper. UUUHHHGGGG.

Yesterday, I spent the day painting the house, wish that I could sell that. I'm more creative with colors when it comes to design of the home sometimes. I must admit, it is frustrating on etsy when EVERYONE is doing the same thing but no one notices your stuff and all you can do is hope and pray someone notices your stuff. I bought some light bulbs yesterday while I was out and am going to redo my jewelry pics. I found a link that says you should do them in natural light (which is what the bulbs are) during an overcast day... which is what I'm going to create with a sheet. Wish me luck as I don't know how I'm going to construct the box that I will need to put them in with this sheet, but I will do it. I used to work in construction, so I'll do it somehow. Yes, I used to roof houses, frame them, and finish them. I think the only thing I didn't do was electrical and plumbing. But, if it had to do with any other part of the home, I was there. I've even been in on the whole reconstruction of a stinking (literally) bathroom from the rotted floor up. Of course, my partner did the plumbing that had to be redone. But I was part of the framework and the finish carpentry.

Is this a blog about anything and everything? I suppose it is... it's my morning rambling before painting again. It's 5 in the morning and the cats don't listen very well after being fed, as they get a little hyper. I'll show you pics of them soon.

Well, I'm off to paint. Wish me luck on my journey to the world of creation on the walls. What colors? We did a base coat of light blue, a glaze yesterday of pearl sponged on in a cloud affect, then the trim is a light grey as to not take away from either color but show them off. It looks really good. I did some of the trim last night.I'll take pics when all is done.
